1- TITLE:
Agriculture initiative in South Sudan working projects.
2- BRIEF INTRODUCTION:
Agriculture initiative in South Sudan Narus working project started since 2022 by the help of Eirene kashino Fund from Tokyo Japan. The project started with aim of improving life of our Vulnerable children living in Narus community.
3- ACTIVITIES DONE:
- Erecting new Temporary house for Poultry.
- Harvesting and selling of ready vegetable.
- Controlled of pest in our vegetable garden.
4- PLANS ACTIVITIES:
- To continue Keeping Poultry during this dry season.
- Maintaining growing vegetable which requires watering during this dry season.
5- ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Seventeen thousand one hundred and fifty South Sudanese Pound ( 17,150ssp ) generated from sale of vegetable.
- Poultry, Twenty one (21) Ducklings have grown now though Two died.
- Feeding for Poultry generated from our garden, we are not buying it.
- Enough Food stuff for children who didn't succeed to go to school this academic year.
6- CHALLENGES FACING:
- Lack of enough water point.
- Lack of Manpower.
- Lack of improved Means of Transport.
- Inadequate working tools.
7- RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Means of Transport, it'll be better if we can have the one which can help us to transport our produce to the main Market so that we can be able to sell in good prices.
- Having enough Manpower and improve working tools can help us to improve our project by producing much harvest.
- Early preparation for next season will be better although it require to move according to the weather.
